Veronika Khartchenko: IMLAUER Hotel Schloss PichlAR(n)T
THE PLACE TO ENJOY
ART GALLERY AT THE SCHLOSS PICHLARN HOTEL IN IMLAU
Under the theme “IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn meets ART,” we are pleased to present an extraordinary project: an art gallery that brings modern art to life in a setting that is as historic as it is inspiring.
The unique atmosphere of the IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn thrives on the harmonious blend of history and modernity. This harmonious interplay is enriched by impressive works and projects from the world of modern art.
A stage for modern art
With the opening of the gallery in the glass cube of the newly renovated IMLAUER Teamhaus, the IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn has transformed into a place where art is not only exhibited but also lived.
The art gallery is currently hosting an exhibition by Veronika Khartchenko, an internationally renowned concert pianist, artist, and gallery owner who graduated from the prestigious Mozarteum—a figure who approaches art with both intellect and emotion.
Under the exhibition title “IMLAUER Hotel Schloss PichlAR(n)T”, artists are showing works that were created especially for our hotel. We are also presenting objects on the themes of Alfatauri, Red Bull and contemporary icons. The dynamic and powerful pop art works reflect what our resort is all about: movement, exclusivity and a passion for extraordinary moments.
Opening of the art gallery
The gallery is directly connected to the IMLAUER team house, and its large glass walls offer a view of the castle park—creating a wonderful connection between art and the castle—a dialogue between architecture, nature, and creativity.
We look forward to welcoming all guests and art lovers to the gallery and to the exhibition. If you’re interested, please feel free to contact the hotel front desk at any time, and we’ll open the gallery for you.
The “Art Projekt Pichlarn” is more than just a gallery – it is an invitation to experience art in a new way. As a powerful addition to a place that inspires, touches and gives its guests unforgettable impressions.

When rooms become canvases
A modern art project was first presented at the IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn in the fall of 2024. Large-format works by contemporary artists were selected for the newly opened winter garden and have since adorned the entire long side of this special place of enjoyment.
The light-flooded room, the magnificent view of the majestic Grimming and the natural tranquillity of the surrounding landscape are impressively complemented by the powerful, colorful paintings. The art here does not act as decoration – it enhances the experience that this place already conveys.
Another project followed in summer 2025, this time with the Viennese artist Marlies Plank. For her long-standing and internationally renowned series “Soap Bubble Studies”, she turned her attention to Schloss Pichlarn and its surroundings and created a multi-part photo series that captures the beauty and fragility of the moment in poetic images.
