HIKE WITH THE MOUNTAIN PAKAS

An experience for young and old

Only 12 minutes by car from IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn is the Bochsbichler family’s organic adventure farm. This is where the fluffy four-legged friends live, who you will immediately take to your heart.

Alpacas are known for their gentle nature and calming charisma. Just being around them lowers stress levels and provides a soothing way to slow down. Walking with these fluffy companions is a wonderful way to enjoy nature in a whole new way.

Enjoy nature with special companions

Hikes with the mountain alpacas are available on an individual basis and can be booked subject to availability. Plan on about 1.5 hours, 35 minutes of which is actual walking time.

First, you will get to know the alpacas during a feeding session and learn interesting facts about these gentle and somewhat shy animals. The animals are then haltered and the hike begins.

The tour leads through the forest and across green mountain meadows with magnificent views of the mountains. Experience the beauty of nature and the special tranquillity.

Important: Make sure you wear good shoes. The trail is not suitable for baby carriages. You should be able to manage both ascents and descents safely. A certain degree of surefootedness and good physical fitness are also required.
